Tomorrow night head over to the Hurley Headquarters in Costa Mesa to see this summers best surf photos. I will be contributing along with some other very talented artists. Come say hi and share some swell stories! Thursday 6-9pm at 1945 Placentia Ave, Costa Mesa.
The Category 5 storm Hurricane Marie off the coast of California delivered some of the biggest surf in 10 years. At south swell magnets like The Wedge in Newport Beach waves reached 20-25 feet. Big wave riders from around the world were greeted with flawless conditions. I was at The Wedge shooting an article for GrindTV which ended up making the front page of Yahoo.com news.
