Hurricane Marie - Massive Surf at Wedge

The Category 5 storm Hurricane Marie off the coast of California delivered some of the biggest surf in 10 years.  At south swell magnets like The Wedge in Newport Beach waves reached 20-25 feet.  Big wave riders from around the world were greeted with flawless conditions.  I was at The Wedge shooting an article for GrindTV which ended up making the front page of Yahoo.com news.  Click on the images below to read the full story.
